These terms explain how our online quote works. They apply when you use the Instant Air quote tool. They are not a contract for installation work — if you go ahead, a separate written contract will cover the work itself.
The "from" price shown at the end of the quote form is a starting price calculated from the answers you give. It is not an offer, a quotation, or a fixed price, and it is not binding on either of us. It assumes the information and photographs you provide are accurate and complete.
After you submit your request, one of our technicians reviews your answers and photographs and sends you a firm, fixed price in writing, usually within a few business hours during normal business days. That written quote is the price you can rely on. You are under no obligation to accept it.
Your firm price may be higher or lower than the online estimate. Common reasons include:
Occasionally something is only discovered once work begins — for example, conditions inside a wall or roof space that could not be seen. If that happens, we will stop, explain the issue, and agree any change in price with you in writing before continuing.
Unless we state otherwise, a written quote is valid for 30 days. Equipment prices can change, and stock availability varies.
If you accept your written quote, we will provide a written contract for the work as required under the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW). We may ask for a deposit to secure your installation date. Deposits for residential building work in NSW are capped at 10% of the contract price, and we will never ask for more than that. The balance is payable on completion unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW), or any other law. Your contract for the work will set out your cooling-off rights and the statutory warranties that apply.
Our installation workmanship is warranted for 2 years from the date of completion. An optional extension adds a further year and is available when you request your quote. Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, which is typically 5 years for the systems we install — the exact terms, and any conditions such as required servicing, are set by the manufacturer. Warranty terms will be confirmed with your written quote.
You agree that the details and photographs you give us are accurate to the best of your knowledge, that the photographs are of the property where the work is to be carried out, and that you are entitled to have the work done at that property. We rely on this information to price your job.
If you add a service plan, it covers the scheduled annual services described at the time of purchase. It does not cover repairs, parts, breakdowns or damage unless we state so in writing.
